Insurance and Billing

Generally all insurance carriers, including Medicare, reimburse Surgery Center charges just as they would any other health facilities. Check with your insurance carrier regarding your benefits. Your financial responsibility at the time of service will be any required deductible, co-insurance, and/or co-payment. As a courtesy, the center will contact you prior to your surgery if applicable.

We offer the option to pay bills online. With our online bill pay option, you can securely make a payment for your service online with no hassles.

Pay Bill Online

We do not bill for fees for physician services (surgeon, anesthesiology, pathology). These are billed separately.

Here is a list of our contracted insurances:

  • Allways
  • BCBS
  • Cigna
  • Fallon
  • Tufts
  • Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare
  • Aetna
  • Medicare
  • MassHealth
  • PHCS
  • United Healthcare

The Cost of Your Procedure

Because you are responsible for costs for covered healthcare services until you reach your deductible, you should comparison shop if you elect to have a nonemergency procedure.

You can use tools like Healthcare Bluebook and the Medicare Procedure Price Lookup (for Medicare patients).  Many health insurance websites also provide information on where to find in-network services.
